These Terms and Conditions (\u201cTerms\u201d) govern attendance and participation in events, activities, and related services organised by PIXELATED INVESTMENTS (Pty) Ltd T\/A ChilliPix Events (\u201cChilliPix Events,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cour,\u201d or \u201cus\u201d), acting as the official event management partner for the Africa FinTech Festival South Africa 2025 and the South African FinTech Awards 2025, in collaboration with the Financial Association of South Africa (FINASA) and the Africa FinTech Network (AFN).<\/p>\n

These Terms apply to all event websites, ticketing platforms, registration systems, and associated online or offline communications, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n

www.africafintechfestival.org
\nwww.chillipixevents.com
\nwww.safintechawards.co.za
\nand official email, social media, and marketing channels operated by or on behalf of the above entities.
\nBy registering for or participating in any related event or using any of the above platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.<\/p>\n

1. Cancellations and Refunds
\nAll cancellations must be made in writing via email to aff@chillipix.co.za. Substitute delegates are welcome and can be nominated at no additional cost.<\/p>\n

Refunds will be issued less a 25% administrative fee if a written cancellation is received no later than four weeks before the first day of the event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after that date or for non-attendance.<\/p>\n

Please note that cancellation fees apply whether or not payment has been received at the time of registration.<\/p>\n

2. Liability and Indemnity
\nThe Africa FinTech Festival South Africa 2025, the South African FinTech Awards 2025, PIXELATED INVESTMENTS (Pty) Ltd T\/A ChilliPix Events, FINASA, the Africa FinTech Network, and all associated organisers, partners, sponsors, suppliers, and venues (collectively referred to as \u201cthe Organising Committee\u201d) accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, illness, damage, or expenses incurred by delegates, exhibitors, or third parties as a result of participation in or attendance at the event.<\/p>\n

Delegates and attendees participate at their own risk and are responsible for arranging their own travel, medical, and personal insurance.<\/p>\n

By registering for the event, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organising Committee, its partners, sponsors, and suppliers from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your participation in the event, except where caused by the proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the Organising Committee.<\/p>\n

Each party shall be responsible for its own acts and omissions and those of its employees, contractors, and agents. Neither party shall be liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.<\/p>\n

3. Dietary Requirements and Allergies
\nAll dietary requirements must be specified at the time of registration While every effort is made to accommodate special requests, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.<\/p>\n

4. Shared Registrations
\nEach delegate must register individually. Shared or transferred registrations between delegates are not permitted.<\/p>\n

5. Force Majeure
\nThe Organising Committee shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: fire, flood, earthquake, severe weather, power failure, pandemic, industrial action, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government restrictions.<\/p>\n

If a Force Majeure event occurs, the Organising Committee will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the event or provide alternative arrangements where possible.<\/p>\n

6. Event Modifications
\nThe Organising Committee reserves the right to alter event programs, schedules, speakers, or venues when necessary, while maintaining the overall value and integrity of the event.<\/p>\n

7. Acceptance of Terms
\nBy submitting your registration or purchasing a ticket through this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n
