Event Overview (Why Attend)
Since its inaugural edition in 2018, the Africa FinTech Festival has matured into the continent’s foremost platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in digital finance. Under the banner “One Africa, ” the Festival convenes a unique blend of decision-makers, from bank CEOs and telco executives to startup founders, regulators, and global investors, all committed to forging an integrated, tech-driven financial ecosystem
Unmatched Scale & Diversity
In 2024, over 2,500 attendees representing 100+ countries descended on Naivasha, Kenya, to share insights and co-create solutions. Participants spanned sectors and seniority levels: C-Suite leaders at Standard Bank, Absa, Vodacom and MTN; innovation teams from Flutterwave, Chipper Cash, Yoco and Paga; policy architects at SARB and CBN; major cloud providers; and capital partners including IFC, CDC Group, and LHOFT.
Curated Experiences for Maximum Impact
The Festival’s program blends strategic keynotes and high-energy panel debates with hands-on workshops and intimate networking moments. Signature activations include the invitation-only CEO’s Table, which facilitates closed-door strategy sessions, and the Fireside Dinner, where relationships deepen in a relaxed lakeside setting. Each element is designed to spark practical outcomes, whether that’s policy alignment, pilot partnerships, or investment commitments.
