Paul Damalie is the CEO and cofounder of Inclusive Financial Technologies Limited Inclusive ID is a single identity verification infrastructure across africa, that helps digital financial services figure out ,if their customers, are who they say they are or not. Financial Services are able to onboard,verify and monitor African identities via digital channels.This helps them to be KYC compliant ,prevent fraud and thus making financial services widely available to the underserved.
Paul has been involved in customer acquisition and operational roles in financial services including Ecobank Ghana and Unique Life Insurance, where he built a strong understanding of financial inclusion challenges facing underbanked demographics in Ghana.He is currently a member of the National Advisory Council of Smart Campaign for consumer protection in Ghana,mandated by Accion International, A member of Ghana’s Digital Financial Services Policy roadmap board and an advisory board member of the Financial Inclusion Forum Africa.
He cofounded pan-African loyalty network app for SMEs,Loystar after he graduated from the prestigious African tech incubator, Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology.
He is passionate about leveraging networks and so is active in community building for the financial inclusion and technology landscape in Ghana.He’s an active member of the Financial Inclusion Forum Africa, a network of professionals in finance, technology ,government and civil society working to deepen access to financial services across Africa.He is also ,the curator of the Ghana Technology Entrepreneurs Network and served as the Chapter Lead of Next Money Accra for the past two years ,where he has organized industry events for financial services and fintech stakeholders.Paul has a degree in Banking and Finance from the Radford University College in Accra,Ghana.
